- Description
- Distribution records obtained from the South African Bird Atlas Project (SABAP) and from published literature show that the known distribution of Redbilled Quelea in the Eastern Cape has changed dramatically over the last century. Increased search effort following the initiation of SABAP may explain the range expansion, but changes in agricultural practice have probably been a contributing factor.
